Dog Costs Tallied For National Dog Day

Undated (WIBQ)  -  Today is National Dog Day, and the ASPCA has figured out how much it's costing you to own a dog.

The organization did the math and says owning a small dog costs over 13-hundred dollars in the first year, and a big dog costs over 18-hundred dollars.

The numbers include one-time expenses such as spaying, neutering and training.

After the first year, the ASPCA says you're spending nearly 600-dollars a year for a small dog and almost 900-dollars a year for a big dog.
