Undated (WIBQ) - Consumers who have bought certain front-loading washing machines may be due a refund or credit.
Some machines have reportedly caused some clothes and homes to stink.
Water can get trapped in the rubber gasket on the door of a front loader, causing black and slimy mold.
Due to a settlement in some class action lawsuits, those who purchased Whirlpool, Kenmore, or Maytag front-loading machines between 2001 and 2010, could be entitled to a $50 cash payment, a rebate on your next washing machine, or reimbursement for your repairs.
If you bought an LG washer between 2002 and 2006, you could receive $35 or a cash rebate on your next front loader.
If you want to claim your part of the settlement you register by October.
