MILWAUKEE (Wisconsin Radio Network) - Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton continues to lead in Wisconsin.

The latest Marquette University Law School Poll released Wednesday shows Clinton claiming 44 percent support among likely voters in Wisconsin, with Republican nominee Donald Trump at 37 percent, Libertarian Gary Johnson and 9 percent, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein at 3 percent.

Clinton led Trump 41-38 in the MU poll released in late September, with Johnson at 11 percent and Stein at two percent.

The poll was conducted last Thursday through Sunday, prior to the second presidential debate but in the midst of a breaking scandal surround Trump’s 2005 sexually aggressive comments about women.

Those comments appeared to sway voters, with results showing a 41-40 split in favor of Trump on Thursday, which shifted to a 44-38 lead for Clinton on Friday, and then a 49-30 lead for Clinton over the weekend.

The poll includes answers from 878 likely voters. It has a margin of error of +/-3.9 percent.
