SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Republican National Committee says it will accept the results of the presidential election even if candidate Donald Trump refuses to concede.
During last night's debate, moderator Chris Wallace pressed Trump on what he might do if he loses to Hillary Clinton.
Wallace says traditionally the loser concedes to the winner. He added that he wasn't saying that Trump would either win or lose. But he said concession is good for the country after a particularly contentious campaign.
Wallace asked "Are you saying you're not prepared to commit to that principle?" To which Trump replied, "What I'm saying is that I will tell you at the time. I'll keep you in suspense."
Clinton called Trump's potential refusal to accept defeat "horrifying."
Trump has repeatedly warned voters that the election is rigged.
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham said his party's candidate is doing the country a "great disservice" by suggesting the election isn't fair and above board.
