LANSING (WKZO-AM) -- A new Mitchell Communications presidential poll has Democrat Hillary Clinton holding a commanding lead over Republican foe Donald Trump in Michigan.
Steve Mitchell told Michael Patrick Shiels on Friday that Clinton has vaulted 13 points ahead of Trump, leading 51-38. Libertarian Gary Johnson has six percent, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein has two percent.
Three percent of voters remain undecided, Mitchell said.
But Mitchall also says it's still too early for the Clinton to start celebrating.
"We've seen these leads move five or six points quite quickly, and nationally, some of the polls are showing Donald Trump leading," Mitchell said.
The poll was taken before Wednesday's debate. Mitchell said it'll take a few days before the effects of the debate will be reflected in poll numbers.
