HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Michigan is in the running for the "Best Winter Wonderland" location in the 2016 USA Today Reader's Choice Poll.
Michigan has two cities to choose from. Frankenmuth and Mackinac Island are in the running along with destinations like with Aspen, Colorado, Lake Placid, New York and Stowe, Vermont.
This isn't the first time Michigan has shown up on a USA Today Reader's Choice Poll. Grand Haven State Park came in second in the Best Fresh Water Beach contest in 2015.
Voting is open until Monday, December 5, and the winning destinations will be announced Friday, December 9, 2016.
