Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) - Sabra Sipping Co., LLC has issued a voluntary recall of some of its hummus products due to a possible listeria contamination.

Sabra says the recall is cautionary as Listeria monocytogenes were found in a manufacturing facility but not in the tested finished product.

Consumers with any product with a "Best Before" date up through January 23, 2017 are urged to throw it away. The "Best Before" date can be found on the lid.

No other Sabra products are affected. Sabra products not included are: Sabra Organic Hummus, Sabra Salsa, Sabra Guacamole and Sabra Greek Yogurt Dips.

Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

More information on the recall can be found here.
