BRILLION, WI (WTAQ) - Ariens Company has agreed to sell its aftermarket parts business to a Minnesota-based company.
A deal has been reached between the Brillion-based manufacturer and Arrowhead Engineered Products Inc.
The business includes the equipment brands Stens and J.Thomas.
"This is a strategic decision that allows the company to continue to re-invest in the original equipment manufacturing business. We have been enhancing our manufacturing plants with automation technology and, at the same time, we will continue to invest in R&D capabilities to accelerate the rate of new product introductions," Chairman and CEO of Ariens Company, Dan Ariens, said in a statement.
Officials expect the sale to be complete by the end of this year.
