Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Bill Clinton is coming to Sioux Falls this month to stump for his wife Hillary.
The former President will visit South Dakota's largest city on Friday May 20. Details will be forthcoming from the campaign.
Hillary Clinton is locked in a fight for the Democratic Presidential nomination with Bernie Sanders, who will hold a rally in Sioux Falls May 12. All of a sudden, South Dakota has become a battleground. Mrs. Clinton has a wide lead in delegates over the feisty socialist, but Sanders keeps winning primaries - most recently in West Virginia. South Dakota's primary is June 7.
It is politically amusing that the Democratic presidential candidates have now decided to spend time and money in heavily Republican South Dakota, while the once wide Republican field is nothing but stubble, mowed down by the Trump tractor. The only Republican to visit very red state South Dakota was Ben Carson, very early in the campaign.
