Kellogg Co. is voluntarily recalling some snacks and cookies because the products may contain "undeclared peanut residue," the company said.
The Battle Creek-based cereal giant said the recall was initiated after its supplier, Grain Craft, recalled wheat flour that has the potential to contain low levels of peanut residue. Among the products affected are Mother's Cookies, Keebler, Kellogg's Special K brownies, Murray and Famous Amos snacks and cookies.
The company said consumers who purchased affected products should discard it and contact the company for a full refund. Consumers can contact the company at 1-800-962-1413, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
